The Edmonton Open Mic Festival isn't just about the performers on our eight stages. It's about everyone who makes community music possible in our city: the businesses, professionals, and neighbours who believe that music strengthens Edmonton and the Edmonton economy.
When you sponsor the festival, you're not just supporting an event. You're taking the stage alongside us -- showing Edmonton that you're part of the vibrant, interconnected ecosystem that keeps community music and businesses alive.
The 2026 festival is made possible in part by a grant from the Edmonton Arts Council and the generous support of the Sherbrooke Community League. We are now seeking community sponsors to build toward a self-sustaining model for future festivals, ensuring this event continues to grow as a free, community-owned celebration of Edmonton's music scene and the sponsors that make it possible.
Your sponsorship dollars go directly toward event support items such as volunteer t-shirts, additional sound and stage equipment, and visitor facilities.
We are expecting up to 2,000 participants to enjoy seven open mic stages, a vendor and craft fair, beer gardens, and a fundraising BBQ supporting rink operations. Our Facebook page, which has been up for a month, already has over 400 followers. Our stages represent significant Edmonton markets: Northwest, Central, Scona, and Whitemud. Your sponsorship can help you reach these key markets.
What Every Sponsor Receives
All sponsors, at every level, receive:
Sponsorship Levels
Gold -- $1,000 Silver -- $500 Bronze -- $250 Sherbrooke Star -- $50
Every dollar counts and every sponsor is recognized. Whether you're a large business investing at the Gold level or a neighbour pitching in as a Sherbrooke Star, you are part of the story this festival tells about Edmonton.
Named Sponsorships
Named sponsorships give your organization exclusive ownership of a specific festival experience. Your brand is the name attached to that piece of the festival in all signage, materials, and announcements throughout the day.
Signage
All sponsors are welcome to use the fencing surrounding the Sherbrooke Community League grounds to display banners and other outdoor, interior-facing signage. The grounds are expansive and the fence line offers excellent visibility to everyone moving through the festival throughout the day.
