The Edmonton Open Mic Festival brings together seven stages, 120 performers, and hundreds of music lovers on July 4. But behind every performance, every stage setup, every connection made, there are volunteers who make the magic possible.

When you volunteer, you're not working behind the scenes—you're taking the stage alongside performers, hosts, and organizers. You're part of the visible, vital network that keeps community music alive in Edmonton.

Why Volunteer?

Be part of the music ecosystem: See firsthand how community music really works—from stage setup to sound checks to connecting performers with audiences.

Meet the music community: Connect with open mic hosts, performers, venue owners, and fellow music lovers from across Edmonton's neighborhoods.

Gain experience: Whether you're interested in event production, sound engineering, community organizing, or just love live music, you'll learn by doing.

Make it yours: This festival celebrates the idea that anybody can perform—and anybody can contribute. Your role matters.
